Reporting and Grant Specialist

Be a part of the team that provides affordable housing opportunities to New Mexicans statewide!  The Policy and Planning Department of New Mexico Mortgage Finance Authority (MFA) has an opening for a Reporting and Grant Specialist.  Manages HUD and other planning and reporting requirements, MFA grant opportunities and assists with department functions. Responsible for HUD formula grant planning and reporting, including the New Mexico Consolidated Plan, Analysis of Impediments to Fair Housing Choice, Annual Action Plan, Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER).

Minimum Qualifications:


Bachelors Degree and a minimum of three years’ experience with federal affordable housing programs and federal reporting.

Knowledge, skills and abilities:  

Ability to work independently, ability to prioritize work, effectively present information to members of management, and executive committee, experience with HUD online systems, including IDIS (Integrated Disbursement and Information System) and eCon Planning Suite is preferred.  Must have a valid NM driver’s license and reliable transportation.
