Question 1: In Part II of the RFP, Minimum Qualifications and Requirements, paragraph 5 states that the Offeror must meet FNMA Minimum Requirements for default related services.  Does that mean that the Offeror must currently be a FNMA approved foreclosure firm, or just that it must otherwise meet the minimum FNMA standards?

Answer 1: In Part II of the RFP, Minimum Qualifications and Requirements, paragraph 5 states, “Offeror must meet Fannie Mae Minimum Requirements for default related legal services.” The Offeror is required to meet Fannie Mae’s minimum requirements but is not required to be part of a Fannie Mae approved attorney network. For details please consult the Fannie Mae Servicing Guide for information on selecting and retaining law firms and firm minimum requirements.
