On behalf of the Department of Housing and Urban Development, MFA is releasing a Notice of Funds Availability (NOFA) under the Emergency Solutions-CV Grant Program for Rapid Re-Housing and Homeless Prevention activities. Funds will be targeted to areas within New Mexico that do not currently have a Rapid Re-Housing and Homeless Prevention program. Funds must be used to prevent, prepare for and respond to coronavirus.
The purpose of this NOFA is to invite the submittal of qualified agencies for the purpose of housing homeless individuals/households and preventing homelessness for those most at-risk of becoming homeless. The amount of funding available is $2,200,000. Funding must be expended by September 30, 2022.
Applications must be submitted electronically according to the directions in the NOFA no later than Thursday, December 3, 2020 by 5:00PM MST. Applications submitted after the deadline will not be considered for funding.
