NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PUBLIC COMMENTS ON THE PROPOSED AMENDMENT(S) TO MFA RULES AND REGULATIONS
MFA Rules and Regulations are amended from time to time for reasons of accuracy in respect to the current practices in the implementation of MFA programs, and consistency with the applicable regulatory schemes. Pursuant to New Mexico Statutes Section 58 Financial InstitutionsAdd Resource Links and Regulations Article 18, any proposed changes to the rules and regulations governing MFA must be posted for public comment for thirty (30) days prior to request for approval by an oversight committee from the New Mexico legislature.
This notice is to advise that the draft of the proposed amendment(s) to MFA Rules and Regulations will be available for review and download from the MFA website at https://housingnm.org/resources/notices-meetings. The 30-day public comment period begins on October 5, 2022, and continues through November 7, 2022.
Written comments on the proposed amendment(s) to MFA Rules and Regulations may be delivered by email, mail, by courier service or by hand to MFA at the following address:
