Draft 2021 New Mexico Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report
Housing New Mexico and the Department of Finance and Administration, Local Government Division (DFA) are seeking public comment on the DRAFT State of New Mexico 2021 Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER). The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) requires Housing NM and DFA to report on activities during the previous program year using the state’s formula funding allocations. Federal funding includes the following programs: HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME), Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), Emergency Solutions Grants (ESG), Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA) and the Housing Trust Fund (HTF). HOME, ESG, HOPWA and HTF programs are administered by Housing NM and CDBG program is administered by DFA.
On September 2, 2022, a copy of the draft 2021 CAPER will be available on Housing NM’s web page at https://housingnm.org/resources/plans-and-reports/caper and DFA’s web page at https://www.nmdfa.state.nm.us/local-government/community-development-bureau/caper. If you are unable to download the CAPER, please contactHousing New Mexico to request a copy (505-843-6880 or toll free 1-800-444-6880). If you are an individual with a disability who is in need of a reader, amplifier, qualified sign language interpreter, or any other form of auxiliary aid or service, please contact Sherry Stephens (contact information below). The draft 2021 CAPER may be provided in alternative accessible formats (i.e., Braille/large print, audio tape) and may also be translated into Spanish for limited English proficient (LEP) Spanish speaking persons upon request. Citizens, interested agencies, and for-profit and non-profit organizations may attend the hybrid virtual public hearing via webcast https://housingnm.org/meetings-events-notices to provide comments and input on September 12, 2022, 8:00am at Housing NM offices. Citizens and interested agencies may provide comments during a fifteen-day public comment period, beginning on September 2, 2022, and ending at 5:00 p.m. MST, September 16, 2022. This documentation will be attached to the CAPER, which will be available to the public and submitted to HUD on or before September 28, 2022.
