Additional Funding for FirstDown Plus
Dear Participating Lenders:
We are pleased to announce that Housing New Mexico’s Board of Directors approved an additional $17 million dollars in funding for the FirstDown Plus down payment assistance program. This new appropriation was made possible from funds provided to Housing New Mexico by the State of New Mexico.
The FirstDown Plus loan terms will remain the same.
FirstDown Plus program loans are zero percent (0.00%) interest rate,
amortizing 15-year maturity loans, with monthly principal payments of $55.56.
