Advance Notice of Upcoming Revised Program Limits

Dear Participating Lenders:

The IRS and HUD recently released new income and purchase price limits and will apply to FirstHome, HomeForward and their respective DPA programs. Housing New Mexico | MFA is required to implement the new program limits at the opening of business on Monday, July 27, 2026, and is unable to provide lenders with more advance notice.

Changes to the income and purchase price limits impact individual counties in different ways; we are pleased to announce that all county limits either increased or stayed the same during this revision period. There will be no negative impact to lenders and potential homebuyers looking to utilize our programs.

The updated income and purchase price limits for FirstHome and HomeForward will be in effect for reservations/locks dated Monday, July 27, 2026, and later.
