Bernalillo County System Outage

As you may already know, Bernalillo County is currently experiencing an outage due to a recent cybersecurity issue.  Although this issue did not directly impact MFA or any of its infrastructure, we understand this unexpected event has far-reaching impacts for our lending partners.

Since the situation is developing, please know that MFA’s executive team is closely monitoring the situation and holding ongoing discussions with our investors about potential options to temporarily relax the collection of additional late fees associated with the recording or re-recording delays for Bernalillo County. We will provide updates (via email or PowerLender) about any developments as soon as they are available. We will also be updating the MFA website as new information becomes available.
