Combination of Valencia County DPA with Housing New Mexico Single-Family Programs
Dear Participating Lenders:
We have received several questions about whether Housing New Mexico’s single-family mortgage and down payment assistance programs can be combined with Valencia County’s Down Payment Assistance (DPA) Program administered by Homewise.
Homewise staff confirmed that Housing New Mexico’s FirstHome or HomeForward loans along with the FirstDown, FirstDown Plus, or HomeForward DPA programs can be combined with the Valencia County DPA program.
Please note that the Valencia County DPA Program is separate from Housing New Mexico’s programs. Borrowers must meet the eligibility requirements for both programs.
