Free Homebuyer Education Being Made Available to Housing New Mexico | MFA First-time Homebuyers

Finally Home!® Presented by Housing New Mexico | MFA
Housing New Mexico | MFA has partnered with Finally Home!® to provide individuals looking to purchase a home in New Mexico with FREE homebuyer education and housing counseling services.
This special offering is made possible through a generous grant from Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas and is expected to serve 2,300 New Mexico homebuyers.
Homebuyers who apply for Housing New Mexico’s programs to purchase a home are invited to take advantage of this free service. Eligible buyers may use either the FirstHome or HomeForward program.
Homebuyers wishing to take advantage of this free offer must register for the program using a coupon code provided by their lender. To obtain the coupon code, lenders must log in to PowerLender and view the announcement board.

To help ensure that this special opportunity benefits the intended audience, lenders are asked to only provide the link and coupon code to homebuyers who have the intention of purchasing a home in New Mexico using Housing New Mexico programs. Your best effort and cooperation in this regard is appreciated. Please do not advertise this link on your website, social or print media.
Among other benefits, Finally Home!® offers free life-of-loan counseling, bilingual curriculum, and personalized student support. After completing this Homebuyer Education course, homebuyers will have access to free life-of-loan counseling by working with U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development-certified housing counselors. Once buyers become homeowners, they will also have free on-going access to the Homeowner’s Toolkit, which contains helpful information about various topics including disaster preparedness, home maintenance, budgeting, selling, and more.
