Idaho Housing Finance Association (IHFA) Change to Purchase File Cutoff Date
Dear Participating Lenders:
IHFA will have an upcoming change to its purchase date cutoff for Service Release, specifically regarding the determination of the first payment due to IHFA and Housing New Mexico | MFA.
Effective for all loans purchased on or after March 1, 2026, IHFA will change its purchase date cutoff to the 12th of each month.
Details of the Change:
- Loans purchased on or after the 13th of the month:
The originating lender will receive the next payment due.
- Loans purchased from the 1st through the 12th of the month:
- IHFA will receive the next payment due for first mortgage loans only.
- Housing New Mexico | MFA will receive next payment due for all subordinate loans.
This change is being implemented in accordance with servicing transfer regulation number 12 CFR § 1024.33(b)(2)(ii).
Please ensure your servicing department and payment processing teams are aware of this update and adjust internal procedures accordingly.
