Texting spam alert

It has come to our attention that some MFA participating lenders have received text messages that appear to be from MFA, but, in fact, are not. These messages originate from an 801-23 number, which is a default number used by our texting service for multiple businesses. Lenders who have signed up for text alerts from other organizations that also use the 801-23 number may find it difficult to determine which texts are actually coming from MFA.

To prevent this from happening in the future, MFA now has a unique texting number: 505.273.4009. Please save this number and be assured that any message coming from this number is an official MFA text.
