Two-Factor Authentication Coming to PowerLender System 〈Notice 2 of 3〉

As part of MFA’s ongoing commitment to information security, the PowerLender System will require two–factor authentication for all logins beginning Jan. 3, 2022. Two-factor authentication provides a second layer of security to any type of login by requiring extra information in addition to your password.

The shift to two–factor authentication is an important part of our ongoing efforts to help ensure Personal Identifiable Information (PII) within the system is kept safe and secure, by making it more difficult for potential threats to access our systems with login credentials obtained by phishing or theft.

No immediate action is required at this time. This email is simply a notification to you and your organization about the upcoming rollout of two-factor authentication. Please forward this message to any appropriate personnel or your IT department so that they are aware of the upcoming change.

To help insure everyone is aware of the change we have posted the instructions to the PowerLender portal, and we will be sending out an additional reminder. Valid log in credentials are required to access this information.

Should you have any questions, please contact an MFA homeownership representative at 505.843.6880 or by email: singlefamily@housingnm.org.

Thank you for participating in MFA programs.
