URGENT - NextHome Program Update & Holiday Office Closures

NextHome Program Update 

This update only affects individuals that participated in our October 30, 2018 webinar. Anyone who participated in a later training received the correct information.

MFA will only be able to price and accept NextHome Grant loan reservations through December 12, 2018.  Any original NextHome (grant) loans with a loan application (1003) dated prior to November 12, 2018 must be reserved on MFA’s reservation system by 5:00pm MST on December 12, 2018; otherwise, the borrower will be subject to the 60 re-reservation waiting period.

2018 Holiday Office Closure Schedule

MFA will be closed on the dates listed below. Lenders will not be able to reserve funds via the on-line reservation system. Please note that MFA’s senior management at its sole discretion may choose to close MFA’s office early on the business day prior to a holiday. 

• Thursday, November 22, 2018
• Friday, November 23, 2018
• Tuesday, December 25, 2018
• Tuesday, January 1, 2019

Lenders will not be able to reserve funds on the dates above via the on-line reservation system, but will be able to submit compliance files and suspense conditions.

Compliance files and conditions submitted on the days we are closed will not be checked in until the day our office re-opens.  Review timelines begin on the following day that the compliance files and suspense conditions are checked in.
