Release of PowerLender 4.0
Dear Participating Lenders:
Housing New Mexico | MFA is pleased to share the enhancement to its existing loan reservation system, PowerLender 4.0. The changes are designed to improve functionality both for our internal staff and participating lenders. These enhancements will primarily affect the programming concepts, however, there will also be visual changes to both the PowerLender-Lender Portal and to the PowerLender Reservation/Lock system.
The update will take effect in the evening of Friday, January 9, 2026. PowerLender 4.0 will be unavailable beginning at 6:00 p.m. MST through midnight on Sunday, January 11, 2026, and we ask that you please plan accordingly. No action is required by our participating lenders, and your existing credentials will not change. The document imaging system, VirPack, will not be affected by the transition to PowerLender 4.0. Lenders may upload documents as usual.
We are confident that these changes will create a streamlined experience while maintaining all existing program requirements and controls. New training materials will be available to our participating lenders soon.
